I have a new computer, changing form XP to 64 bit Windows 7 machine.

I used Easy transfer to move all my files but Libronix 3 new computer does not see all the books I had on my old machine.

First step is to go to your Tools > Options > Resource Paths and make sure it's capturing the directory(s) where you intended.

Then click the Refresh Resources button near the bottom to clear the library buffer, and restart Libronix (to force a clean library read). Depending on your library, this can take a bit.

Please keep in mind some people have issues with W7-64 and some don't (Dave from Australia).

I've also moved to a new computer and now every time I open L3 I get this pop up window asking for my Logos 4 serial number.   Since I downloaded Logos 4 online, I don't have a serial number from a CD.  How do I get past this error message.  I believe it is preventing the opening of the Original Languages download I recently purchased.

Hi Gary

Just to make sure I understand from your message:

- I assume the popup is on your Libronix? It's referring to Logos4?

- When you downloaded your Logos4 and installed it (it doesn't require a serial number, etc), did you log on with the same account information that you bought your Original Languages package? Logos4 will automatically download the package; no serial numbers etc.

I think we can get this sorted out and get you busy with your new package.

Libronix 3 requires account activation.  Top Ten Technical FAQs includes => How do I activate my user account in Libronix?

Logos has Libronix articles => http://www.logos.com/L3/support/windows that includes => Installation Instructions and => Special Uninstall and Reinstall Instructions

Libronix 3 installs for all users on a computer while Logos 4 is installed for each user so Libronix 3 and Logos 4 can be used at the same time.  Suggest using same email account and password for both Libronix 3 and Logos 4.

Yes, the problem is on Libronix and it asked for a the Logos 4 serial number.   I did a syncronize licenses and that seems to have fixed the problem.

However, another problem I have is that I did an Original languages resource update and over a GB of resources was downloaded but I believe some are still locked.   I assume that there are resources in L4 that don't exist in Libronix but what resources are included in the Libronix Original Languages Product?

I've had Libronix for years and on several computers but never got this pop up.  The pop up window is not asking for my account number and email.  It wants the Logos 4 serial number.

I did a synchronize licenses and I think I am ok now.  Thanks.

Glad you got the mysterious number problem resolved.

Regarding the Original Language package contents, it depends on when you bought it since the package is a moving target. There's nothing in either Libronix or Logos4 that identifies package contents ('what you bought'!).

Regarding Logos4 vs Libronix ... if you buy something in Logos4, up till now with few exceptions, the Libronix version will also receive it. I view that as very generous of Logos. I think I only bought one resource that didn't 'back-transfer' to Libronix. But starting Sunday, that'll end for new shipments (but continue for existing resources).

This is the only page that I am aware of that will give a fairly accurate list:  http://www.logos.com/product/10416/original-languages-library

You will take note that just under and to the right of the price ‘415.59’ there are the links “All content” and “New content” you can click these, but they open an insight, so there is no direct link to paste.. You will just have to do a look see.

The only other way is to do the “compare chart”. Again fairly accurate…
