Johann: It seems like in all the posts about MarchMadness people are voting for N.T. Wright, but he's losing this round. Can I ask those who are voting for Lloyd-Jones what are your reasons why? Is it that you already own everything from Wright? From what I've read Lloyd-Jones isn't bad, but if I had to choose who's stuff to buy ... I guess I tend to go for scholars over pastors when it comes to theology books.

No, I am voting for N. T. Wright ONLY because I already own every thing in Logos by Lloyd-Jones.
Seriously.

And for me just the opposite is true. I think I have every Logos resource by Wright.
I have like Lloyd-Jones for a number of years. I though I would like N T Wright as well, but when I heard him speak a number of years ago, I was disappointed. I am looking forward to reading more of Lloyd-Jones and will probably not be buying N T Wright, regardless of whether he wins or not.

My thoughts as well.

JRS: I voted for the one who understands justification.
I voted for the one who understands justification.
Agreed. Plus, Lloyd-Jones helps me see application in ways I had not considered.
