When I try and type in the content field.

'Admission £3'

I get

'Admission #3'

this causes confusion amongst the customers.

iMac and MacBook affected.

(the £ sign is shift+3)

Hi Mike

Mike Binks:

I get

'Admission #3'

I've just tried this on Windows and it works fine.

Hope this might be helpful in tracking the cause down

Graham

It's possible that the pound sign isn't in some of the fonts, and is in others. Have you tried using a different font/slide style?

There may something in what you say Bob. I didn't realise that Proclaim was using fonts that were not included in the Mac font book. When I switch fonts I get a couple of different reactions to Shift+3. Either I get the pound sign as expected or I get the 'key-board-bleep' as nothing is added.

I can always add the £ sign by going to 'special characters' and selecting it but it does seem to be a major omission on a default font.
