My husband just bought the Scholar's Library and I am currently trying to download everything.  Is there a way to download everything in one file or do I have to click on each of the Libronix Files separately?

Thanks!!  :)

Hi - and welcome to the forums

With Logos 4 everything should download automatically when you sign in to your account

It will be as separate files but it shouldn't require manual intervention.

Is this not happening?

Welcome Steve... err... Steve's wife Smile

As Graham said, it should download everything automatically. In L4 Mac, you should never have to manually download anything! One question... Where did you get the program from (CD or web)?

Thanks...Steve isn't the most computer savvy so I get the fun job of figuring it all out and teaching him!  ;)

I downloaded it from the web, not a cd.  Logos 4 downloaded just fine but there is nothing there...as in no Bibles, commentaries, etc...  Not sure what I did wrong!  :)  Any ideas?

Oh...and we are new to Mac's as well...we've only had this one for 2 months so it's a MAJOR learning curve around here!  :)

Unless you have an extremely fast connection and an extremely powerful computer, downloading and indexing will take several hours, and you won't see much until it's done. You have downloaded the program itself, and you've signed in with the same e-mail you used to buy your package? Then the resources should download automatically. Do you have a blue Logos icon up on the menu bar? Try hovering over that:

Thanks!

Turns out it was logging in under his old email account for our old church!  That makes a difference, logged in under correct email and now it is 50% downloaded!

Thanks to everyone for the help!!

That is a common one for beginners. Smile

FYI - Once the resources download, it will need to index. This is a very time consuming process, and Logos may (will) not function properly until it is complete. I don't think you said… are you on an iMac or MacBook? If you are on a MacBook, you may want to leave the computer at church overnight to let it run. Try really hard not to close the lid while it's indexing, and make sure its plugged in!

Although the forums are really for Logos related issues, if you need help with your mac, someone here might be able to point you in the right direction. Smile

Glad we could help.

Let me recommend Mark Barnes' videos on the Wiki; they're by far the best help to learn Logos: Excellent Unofficial Tutorial Videos. They're PC, so it'll be a little different, but most things are the same (just remember ctrl tends to be cmd on Mac).

+1 Yes Concur with recommendation; wiki has => Getting Started with Logos that also links to videos by Mark Barnes plus more.
