Attach an existing note to bible passage

Is there a way to attach an existing note to a passage?

Not that I know of.  I had to do the cut, delete, add, paste routine for doing the same thing.

ecch! I have several hundred notes, most of which are not attached to a specific passage. Oh well....

Rick - The only help I can give you is to propose a work flow. Perhaps you have already thought of it, but just in case… 

  1. Open the note file in question. 
  2. Create a new note file & keep it open
  3. Click on each note which will open the resource to the note.
  4. Copy & delete the old note
  5. Create a new note in the new note file

By doing it this way you will make sure to get all of the notes, track your progress, etc.

I go to 'File' and type each book of the bible and then I can save any note in that book and the passage will be marked as usual.

Yes, 66 books, but then when you right click a passage in any book, the pop up will show 'add not to Matthew' (whatever book) at bottom right.

Works great for me.
