I have this in my wish list and when I go to look at it it says

We're sorry!

That is not a product we currently sell.

Try searching for Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture (ACCS) (29 vols.), or check out these related products:

Tell me Logos is still selling this!!!! Please!

You can buy the disc online at a reasonable price.

For some reason Logos has it on sale for a while, then off sale and then on again.  My guess would be that it is a publisher decision, but that's only a guess.

As Dean53 said if you search online you can still find it available.

I've emailed my Logos sales rep to see if he can shed any light on the situation.

Thanks Rosie, I have no idea why it keeps coming and going from Logos' catalog, it is so weird.

I am amazed that Logos is not selling this excellent commentary set any more.  It is one my very favorite commentaries.  A sense of the historical understanding of the Church is extremely valuable, unless you think this is the first generation to whom God has spoken.

The publisher is Intervarsity Press, and Logos carries numerous IVP resources.

Yes but Logos had most of the Anchor Yale Bible, and if my memory serves me at all it took almost 9 months after completion for the AYRL to be released. Because the publisher wanted to change their mind and review the contract with a fine tooth comb. With Logos it is odd for it not to have been locked up solid, but all it takes is one lawyer to say x is broken and then renegotiations need to happen.

These things can take a long time to hammer out. Apparently it took one year from initial contact, with both parties interested in proceeding, before Logos was able to offer the Popular Patristics series from St. Vladimir's Seminary Press. Granted, that was a publisher they'd never done a contract with before. But still, when things are shifting constantly in the e-publishing world, with Amazon throwing its weight around, the US Government suing Apple for price-fixing, etc., it must be very complicated for both parties to be sure they are protect against any unforeseen eventualities.

You do realize that if they could protect against eventualities, they would no longer be unforseen.  Hmm

Well, if you're vague enough in the wording, then it covers eventualities that you couldn't have predicted. That's what lawyers are so good at. Being vague, and getting paid big bucks for it. Heck, I can be vague for diddly-squat. You want my legal advice? Smile

That depends.  Would you charge me diddly or squat?  Wink

That depends. I purposely said "diddly-squat" so it could be interpreted either way.

diddly minus squat equals zero.

Oh, is that one of those cryptarithm puzzles?

Let's see, how to solve it? D must be zero. Y and T must be equal. L and A must be equal. Q and U must also be zero. And I and S must be equal. So there are a bunch of possible solutions, for example: D = Q = U = 0; I = S = 1; L = A = 2; Y = T = 3: 010023 - 10023 = 0

Indeed. The reason I'm still hoping to see the Dictionary of Early Christian Beliefs make it into Logos one day.

Jack, my friend, with that attitude, you'd... you'd.... why you'd fit right in with some in my congregation.  Why waste time with Hebrew and Greek, just go back to the original KJV!!  Wink

The wife and I are currently seeking a new Church home. We have learned that the majority of IFB churches in this county are die-hard, "If the KJV was good enough for Jesus and the apostles, then it is good enough for me". I had better leave this discussion at this point Geeked
