When the merger of Highlights into Notes happened, there was a bad secondary impact. When I select text, make a highlight (usually via keyboard shortcut), and then move on to select more text to highlight before the highlighting appears [working ahead] Logos will reset the textual focus, removing what I'd just selected or trimming the selection to the last letter or so. It didn't work that way before--I highlight heavily, and this need to pause for the highlight to become visible before trying to select text has really slowed me down--especially when I work on my tablet, which is slower than my desktop.
Please Please fix this so it lets me return to "queuing" highlights.
If you also find this frustrating and want it to get fixed, please vote for it on UserVoice:

I don't have Logos open right now so I can't check things out, but this sounds like something that should be reported as a bug/regression rather than made into a suggestion to vote for.

Bradley agreed, and closed the suggestion on UserVoice.
I need to demonstrate how this bug works, but probably need to do that via video--anyone know of a free/cheap program for Win7 to let me do that?
Jing is a free screencast program that should work on Windows.

Tks; I downloaded it and it appears to be just the thing.
Unfortunately (?) the textual focus bug that has long and consistently plagued me is suddenly gone. The only thing I've done differently is that I removed one of my monitors to use in place of our TV, which gave up the ghost yesterday. I'll come back to this thread if this bug arises again...and link to video to show what I see.
w00t FTW!! Once I sat down tonight to begin Bible study in earnest, the bug reappeared--it isn't as persistent as it has been, but I managed to capture it on video.
