Now it is listed online is it coming out soon? http://www.logos.com/product/18489/introduction-to-bible-study-with-logos-bible-software?utm_source=new&utm_medium=email&utm_content=buttonlink&utm_campaign=prepub
Randall - There really is no telling. If you notice, the product has not "crossed the line" yet, but is "almost there." On the other hand, this is a third party resource (MP|Productions) and production could be anywhere from "nearing completion" to "not started yet."
Reading blog article => http://blog.logos.com/2012/04/introduce-yourself-to-bible-study-with-logos/ implies resource creation, yet article links to pre-publication for placing pre-order. Noticed progress status is "Almost There!", which would change to "Under Development" after enough pre-orders are placed.
Apologies: personally have no idea when for shipment.
Keep Smiling [:)]
I am starting to think Logos is a shady company. I would think they would be more upfront on when they plan to start and release products. I plan to never do community pricing or prepub again because they practice of not knowing what or if they are doing anything.

Why? What is wrong with pre-pub? You don't pay for it until it ships? People are given discounts for pre-ordering? Sounds fair and honest to me? If you think otherwise, please enlighten me.
Bad assumption! Logos prepub and community pricing is an awesome program. I have bought many resources on both, and they provide a value add for the consumer. It is too bad that you have jumped to such false conclusions!
Can appreciate "shady" opinion since Logos does not publicly advertise many internal business decisions. Thankful for many forum replies and posts by Logos employees, including Bob Pritchett (CEO), with wiki => Logos Speaks linking to many threads.
Personally have learned to check pre-publication progress once a week => http://www.logos.com/products/search?Status=Pre-Pub&start=0&sort=shipdate&pageSize=45 that currently has estimated ship dates for 41 items (through Jun 2012), which includes community pricing items that closed 1 to 3 months ago (current trend appears to be 1 to 4 months from close to shipment).
Thankful for Logos now forecasting pre-publication shipments over a couple months, which is appreciated for cash flow planning. [8-|]
Also noticed 157 pre-publications "Under Development" with no estimated ship date (yet).
Likewise noted 9 pre-publications "Almost there!" that Logos has the internal option of starting resource development since "Almost there!" pre-orders show potential sale interest (and Logos has historical information about sale of similar resources).
Currently 43 pre-publications are "Gathering Interest"
For community pricing, currently 77 resources are available for bidding => http://www.logos.com/products/search?Status=Community+Pricing&start=&sort=progress&pageSize=15 with two closing this Friday since 100 % of estimated production cost has been covered by user community bidding. Time from closing to shipping varies by resource. For example, bidding for The Cambridge Bible for Schools and Colleges (58 vols.) closed at $ 50 on 24 Jun 2011, which was followed by shipping the 15,459 pages on 9 Sep 2011 (bit less than 3 months later). Bidding on Classic Commentaries and Studies on Philippians (18 vols.) closed at $ 40 on 28 Jan 2012, which was followed by shipping 4,396 pages on 17 Apr 2012 (also bit less than 3 months). In contrast Classic Commentaries and Studies on Galatians (24 vols.) closed on 13 Dec 2011, with shipment of 4,014 pages on 16 Jan 2012 (one month later).
Likewise Logos has the internal option to revise estimated production cost, which notably happened with the Classic Commentaries and Studies on Revelation (27 vols.) along with starting resource development before 100 % complete that could be happening with The Works of Dwight L. Moody (26 vols.) as bidding progress is over 80 % in less than one week.
From a scheduling perspective, having an internal option to start resource development before an item reaches 100 % allows Logos to keep people gainfully employed (along with high quality resources shipping sooner).
I have 15+ things on community price they could have a system in place the say we need XX amount of people then when reach say they are building it,
Now to me Intro to bible study is different due to the fact they made a video of it and posted it on Youtube. This lead me to believe the product was heading out the door. My rep sad they haven't made it yet. This was last month. Then yesterday get I another email about pre-pub.
Why waste the time making a video for a product that is not made yet? When I saw the guy going through the software looked like a finish video to me.
Logos need to stop mailing me about pre-pubs I have ordered and mail me ship dates. If I have already pre-pub an item why do I need to know about the pre-pub again and again? I am not rich how the hell am I to budget when all they do is tease me? What I mean by tease is when they email me the same stuff I know it's on pre-pub so why keep telling me?
