Matthew went to ICU on Monday suffering from diabetic coma. He is conscious now but very confused and can't remember very much at this point. I know he loves to post on the forums. You are all his friends. Thank you, Nina Jones
Lord, keep Matthew in your loving care.

+1 [Y] Praying plus Praising. Prayers also include BillS and family.
Thankful for God's perfect timing and wondrous Love.
Keep Smiling [:)]
I am praying for a full recovery for Matthew. Thinking of the Don Moen song that goes, "You are the God that healeth me, you are the Lord my healer, You sent your Word and healed my disease, You are the Lord my healer." He is the healer, and no matter what, He will never leave you nor forsake you. Tell Matthew...just rest in His presence.
Praying for him and you.
Update: Super.Tramp here, thank you for your prayers, please keep praying. I am out of ICU in a regular room hopeful to go home in a few days. I was in a coma with a 1700 blood sugar, it feels good to be back. Yes, George, I owe you an e-mail!
So thankful to see you healthy enough to be back on Logos Forums!
I have several generations of diabetes in my family, so I know your situation. During my last hospital stay (not diabetes related), the other bed was occupied by a young adult whose diabetes had got completely out of control. He was self-employed, hardworking young man that did not take care of his health. He was in bad shape. I overheard a lot of the conversations between the health staff and him as they were trying to get him back to normal.
Continuing to pray for you, your family and your church.
Good to hear directly from you. Don't worry about the email (at least immediately); it was somewhat intended as a humorous remark incentivizing you to get well (You have to be around and conscious to write the email).
Hi ST
Great to hear from you and to hear of your progress.
Continuing to pray for you and your family

Praying for you and your family Matthew.
ST,
Very glad to see you back on the forums. May His Presence give you and your family rest and peace....and you sufficient strength (and feistiness) to return to posting regularly soon. By the way, I remember you posted about a rather unpleasant foot operation you went through sometime back. I hope recovery went well. Take care, sir, and God bless.

Glad to see you back!
I too have been wondering about the foot. Last I heard you were worrying about losing it. After that you seem to have been posting much less and I've gotten the impression that you've been in hospital several times. I do hope that doesn't mean what I've feared it means?
Matthew, I'm very glad to read that you are on the road to recovery. Great news, indeed. May God be praised!
1700!!! We're blessed to have you back. That's incredible. You must have some strong heart to be able to pump thick molasses through your veins. Praise God you are ok.
This is wonderful news, Matt! We shall continue to keep you and your family in our prayers!
Matthew
Great to hear you are well on the road to recovery. Surely God is good. Psalm 73:1.
Every blessing

Great to see your post, will continue in prayer on your behalf.
I was in a coma with a 1700 blood sugar,
we used to have a thing in college to one up each others' stories: "shoot, that ain't nothin', ONE time I . . . ."
only, I can't top this one.
Glad you are typing again, even if abbreviated. missed you, brother.

Obviously, your wife has been far to sweet to you! Tell her to stop it. [:O]
Glad you are better and will continue to pray.
Prasie the Lord for the good news.
Great to know that you are doing better, continuing to pray for a complete healing.
Update: Dear friends, I don't want to monopolize the Logos forums as my personal newsletter so I will try to withhold personal postings except for substantial changes. For the coming weeks I covet your prayers for continued recovery. Challenges that I am facing include eyesight (serious), kidneys (minor), mobility (moderate), fatigue and gastroparesis.
Please grant me a small respite from the forums as I focus on a quick and robust recovery. I cherish all of you and I hope to be back sooner rather than later. Nina will keep me updated. p.s. George, you WILL get your e-mail!
Addendum: 2 last thots; I am still fighting to keep the left foot (right one long gone). Will be wheel chair bound for at least a year. Hey guys, don't think she won't find out your order history. My marriage is surviving the revealed facts, she is so good to me [:)]
George, you WILL get your e-mail!
All in good time, my friend. Just concentrate on getting better.
Please grant me a small respite
are you operating under the assumption that we are a kind, generous, and understanding folk?

Prayers for your recovery.
Sorry to hear of your recent health issues Matthew. I am glad you have made some progress brother. I can't begin to imagine what it has been like for you and your family. Praying for your continued recovery, strength for you wife Nina and family. May the Holy Spirit minister to you and your families spiritual needs also in addition to physical healing for you and emotional and physical strength for your family which we believe God will provide in Jesus name.
Lord, we pray for a continued and speedy restoration for Mathew. Bless his houshold and encourage them as they continue to trust in You.
Shalom Mathew.
[I just have to say it is amazing that your wife could post to the forum - I don't believe that would be possible in this house [:)] I'm glad we are able to share in so many ways in one another's lives.] Be blessed!
Amen! Let's all keep praying for Matthew.
