Hi Milford. Greetings to you too! Thanks for the link to the wiki page - its a wonderful tribute to the many users on here willing to share their work!
Thanks to Bill and Ken, I imported Hengstenberg's book as PB to my Logos, first time ever in my life, and it did work out!
Gold package, and original language material and ancient text material, SIL and UBS books, discourse Hebrew OT and Greek NT. PC with Windows 8.1
Somehow I missed this before. Thanks for reviving this thread.
Using adventure and community to challenge young people to continually say "yes" to God
Thanks Bill and Ken. This is a wonderful addition to my library.
Thanks!
Thank you for this!
I just put in a bid for the logos tagged version: www.logos.com/product/39375/
many thanks
Hi everyone. Is this book still being maintained? I successfully built Volume 1 and 3 with my Logos 7, but failed to build Volume 2 and 4. It seems that there are errors in the docx document. The error prompt says there are 4 errors in Volume 2 and 5 errors in Volume 5. If anyone can send me a corrected file, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. May God bless.
My preference would be to promote this:

something is a miss with the Hebrew text in the docx haven’t figured it out yet myself
As one of the creators of this, I have all four volumes built in my Logos library, but I built them many months ago. I don't know if a new version of the PBB tool affected these. I would suggest looking at the log files and posting the errors for help.

Agreed! My vote has been in since '16
I can't post the log file as it is apparently too large. I got 4 errors and 1678 warnings. the warnings are all : [Warning] Unknown class name 'HebrewText'
Here are the errors:

Yiteng and Dan S.:
I found the show-stopping empty paragraph error in Volume 2, but it was a hollow victory as I could not find the two empty paragraphs in Volume 4.
I enabled Navigation View (in the View tab in Word) and looked for headings that are blank spaces. (I revealed paragraph marks by clicking the paragraph mark button on the Home tab.) Once I clicked the blank space in the Navigation Pane, I applied the Normal style by clicking the Normal style button. This made the blank space in the Navigation Pane go away and enabled the PB to compile. (Volume 2 page 224 (MS Word page reckoning)).
Maybe someone else is able to fix Volume 4.
No longer actively posting. Please remind T-Bone to take his meds.
It came to me in a vision...
Volume 4 had no obvious blank headings in the Word Navigation Pane. But, I had compiled these some time ago before the PB compiler became so picky. So, I opened the Volume 4 resource in Logos, started at the top, set Article as the navigation point in the Locator Bar and 'arrowed' through all the articles and found two places where the Visual Cue bounced on blank spaces.
In the docx, those places are: Page 93 (MS Word pagination), just before the heading 'MALACHI': delete the 2 paragraph marks before it; Pages 129 & 130, delete the 2 paragraph marks just before the heading 'History of the Exposition of Vers. 5'. The document should compile after that (It did for me).
Since we won't always have the benefit of previous successful compilations of a PB to guide us, I will post a suggestion on how the PB compiler might provide more clues for the location of the 'empty article' error.
You'll still get all the warnings, but I think many of those are of the annoyance type that have no practical consequences. I did notice that some Hebrew words in the complied resource won't 'look up' in the Info tool; I may do some investigation on why Word didn't auto-detect them. [EDIT[ This could be because I don't have a Hebrew lexicon large / complete enough to report it.
Just a reminder that this book and many others are sitting in the community pricing part... help us get this into production with some professional tagging!
Mattillo: help us get this into production
I put a bid in, but it's gonna be a long, hard slog.
BTW, if I didn't mention it before, I should add that these four PB docs are extremely well-done; Top-Shelf.

Thanks, Robert. I'm glad you are enjoying Hengstenberg!
Glad you both got it to work and are finding these books useful. I also hope that the official edition will happen without too much delay and make a better offering that Bill made, to which I tweaked a bit.

Thanks so much! How do I get the updated file set?
