I do hope we get a SP for this feature - actually had expected an RC2 with having this fixed befor 4.6 went live.
Running Logos 9 latest (beta) version on Win 10
Nice update. But my timing is terrible. just spent a couple of hours hiding over a 1000 books only for the multiple select in this upgrade :)

Tonya J Ross: Multi-select for hiding resources from the Library panel
Can anyone tell me how this works? I got a little over zealous with the Perseus library and would love an efficient way to hide some of the foreign language stuff that I don't need. I can multi-select, but it still only pulls one when I go to drag it to Hidden Resources.

When you have multi-selected, hit CTRL-RightClick and you will see a small context menu where you can choose "Hide this resource". not need to drag them anymore.
I definitely like the new split notes feature. Also, does anyone else think that L4 is not lagging as much now when taking longer notes?
is there any reason why i can't CTRL Right-click on an individual title and for it not to be hiden?

Works on Mac (except it's Option there). Have you restarted?

Mac Pro OS 10.9.
yes restarted. I even used the drop down menu on the "tools" tab and tried it that way. i read that hiding resources will not take effect if L4 syns. I''ll play around some more - maybe I'm not doing it correctly.
will reply later if it doesn't work\
thanks, mm.
ok i got it going.
next question; Can i select more than one book/resource and hide them all at one time? For example, can i open my library type this in; "(Greek)" which will pull most of the Perseus collection up, selection all these at one time and then CTRL right click and hide them all in one full sweep?
What you are saying works! However the changes only seem to go into effect after closing and restarting Logos.
Matt?
do u know how to do what i asked in the box just above? select all and then hide?
Milkman:next question; Can i select more than one book/resource and hide them all at one time?
Yes, that's kind of what the change in 4.6 was all about.
Milkman:For example, can i open my library type this in; "(Greek)" which will pull most of the Perseus collection up
I suggest perseus lang:greek.
Milkman:selection all these at one time
Three options:
You can also combine: first select all, then Ctrl-click to remove the few you don't want selected. Or select 1,2,3,7,8,9,10 by clicking the first, shift-clicking the third, Ctrl-clicking the seventh and finally shift-clicking the tenth.
(Note: I'm on Mac, this is what I think the commands should be on Windows, but I may be wrong.)
Milkman:and then CTRL right click and hide them all in one full sweep?
Yes. And then restart. (After you've hid anything else you want to hide, of course.)
thanks! it works. have a great day.
I'm having a problem with group reading plans not uploading. I posted a forum topic at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/53970.aspx but haven't received any answers.
Ok, can someone explain to me the split notes view. I open a note file and don't see anything different.

In split view you have references/titles of notes on the side and the body of the note in the main portion of the window.
