What is REALLY funny is that the Klein book is only missing 5 letters. My guess is that with the ellipsis, it would only need three more letters. Obviously space isn't an issue.
I hadn't thought about shyness! That explains a bug that I just logged with favorites as well. In fact, it explains a lot about Logos 4 Mac! [8-|]
I can confirm the bug. It only appears in this view, though.

This issue should be fixed in 4.6a Beta 3 for beta users and in general when 4.6a ships to the stable channel.
It seems partly fixed in 4.6a SR-1, but some long titles still remain truncated, even though there is plenty of space left:

Switching to detailed view, have option to double click vertical bar in the Title column header to expand width:

This is weird. Now I can't replicate it any more. The very same titles now look fine!
Don't think I'll try that one again. Yes, it 'worked' -- but only after about 4 minutes of spinning beach ball at nearly 100% CPU with over 350MB free RAM.... Ouch!

Wonder if manually resizing Title column in detailed view is a bit quicker ?
Of course. That's what I've always done so far, and that's what I'll continue to do.

I am also able to reproduce this issue in 5.1. I've created a new case to have the issue examined again.
Using Logos 5.1a RC 3 on OS X 10.8.4 can replicate long title truncation in tiled view for a collection.
Using Logos 5.2a RC 2 on OS X 10.8.5 long titles are complete in tiled view for a collection: e.g.
