I just spent a weekend without Internet but with lots of good study timeSmile.  I kept finding typos, but being offline, I didn't have the "report typo" function.  As a work around I created a Note file for typos, and reported them one-by-one now that I'm back to reality.  It would have been nice to have the L3 ability to store typo reports while offline, with automatic submission once online again.

BTW, I'm also missing the L3 option NOT to receive a confirmation that my typo has been received.

I'd like to see this too. When I'm on my netbook, I'm rarely online and I find a lot of errors, but I have no way to log them.

While I'm at it. Can this be a fixed element on the display. If all I want to do is file a typo, I don't need to wait to see how many hits are found for my "selection".

I spend a lot of time offline, too.  I tend to manually write down typos and take care of them when I get back online.  Storing typos would be a big help.

Add one more "Amen" to this idea. I like Damian's suggestion, too. Take full advantage of our willingness to help.

me too!  Today I can't even report a typo when online!  It would be good to be able to store typos offline as with L3

Good idea.

I wonder if it would ever be possible to allow users to make the actual correction instead of merely reporting it?

It would also really be great if users were allowed to make links to resources for references that have been missed.

The software could report the correction as a typo for the publisher to correct at some point but then the user would not be dependent upon the publisher for the corrections.

If you select more than one word before you right click, the dialog box comes up almost immediately and doesn't search your library. Makes it a lot faster to report typos.

I tripped across this thread while trying to figure out why I suddenly couldn't report typos in L4b, and recalled turning off the internet service because the Berkhof download kept corrupting Logos' stability.

Considering the age of the first request, I wanted to respond to "Freshen" this ... agree that while off-line, typo reporting (albeit queued) should be possible.  It really helps all of us to make it easy to report the occasional resource issue.
