Very nice! It works great on my HTC Hero (Android). It would be nicer a natice Android app, though. Is it asking too much? Please!

Thank you! My Nokia smartphone with internet contract now seems a useful tool rather than a fun toy! Of course, the full iPhone-style app would be wonderful, but this is a great start.

Is it possible to enable HTTPS for library.logos.com?

I think working from McDonalds and/or other free WiFi places, I would feel safer with https://library.logos.com, than current http implementation.

Thank you very much for the new mobile Logos option!

I want this on my netbook!!!!!!   It's too small on my phone;(

Just use https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59 and browse from under Firefox as if you are from iPhone OS :-)

Thanks to everyone for the great feedback. Reports on which browsers do & don't work is very helpful-- there are so many different mobile browsers! I'll try to answer a few questions...

Great app. My Sony Ericsson X1 works using IE but not Opera. Opera logs in but the icons don't function as links (tapping them does nothing), IE works great.

(That's Opera 9.5, build 2141)

Thanks Bob et al.

Update:

Some of library (I think it's my base package) shows in IE but much of it does not: no Commentary on NT use of OT, no WBC, no BST, no Bakers NT Commentaries.

Ideas anyone?

Using my Kindle 2, I can browse to http://library.logos.com and can browse the free books. However, I can't seem to log in to my account. Is there a fix for this?

Bill

Logos must secure copyright permission form each publisher to view the books over the web.  Availability will depend on publishers who are willing, or not willing, to grant permission.

On my smart phone, I am currently using Opera Mobile 10 beta. When I open a page of a book, Opera is panned out. When I click on the screen, it pans in to 100% and I can read the page. At the bottom of the page, aligned on the left side of the screen is the back arrow button. The forward arrow button is on the right hand side of the page but it is out of view. I have to scroll all the way to the right to click the forward arrow. Is there any way to put the forward button to the right of the back button at the bottom of the page?

Also, is there a way to make these larger to tap with a finger?

Clearly you guys are way too determined to be turned away by a mobile-only restriction. The restriction has been removed and library.logos.com can now be accessed from all browsers... registry-hacking delphi programs not required. Enjoy =)

Thank you. I think there's merit to having this available. Perfect for very quick queries without having to launch the app. I'll be using it often. Thanks.

I can be counted as one who would upgrade to L4 for whatever price if they made an Android app. Until then i'll keep my money and use the web address. Thanks for the effort in putting at least that together.

I have a windows mobil 5 phone without touch screen. In Library i cannot select a book. I can see all my books but am unable to sellect. Scrolling does not highlight a book just moves down the list. Thanks again for this great app. the bible alone is helpful.

Try the right-left buttons. I used a mobile 5 for a while before I went blackberry and as I recall that is how to do it (could be wrong though)

I'm using a Palm OS 5.x device. I don't have a data package with internet access on my phone contract, so I was wondering if there is a way that I can put some of these resources on my Palm smartphone by syncing w/ my computer instead of downloading it directly using the phone's internet connection? I have Logos version 4 on my laptop. If not I'll just keep using my old school Olive Tree Bible software on my Palm, but I would love to be able to use some of my Logos 4 resources on the go.

In Christ,

Jason

Hi Jason, I suggest you read the FAQ in the iPhone forum which addresses your specific question.
