NA27 or NA28

What is the difference between NA27 and NA28?
I already have NA27 (without apparatus) in my old bundle. I'm planning on purchasing the German Bible Society bundle so as to the get the UBS4 and NA27 with apparatus.
The fly in my ointment is that Logos5 shows NA28 as being in some of the higher bundles. I'm assuming this is without apparatus. So my question is: should I worry about not having the latest version or should I wait and buy a NA28 with apparatus when that becomes available?

I hear it's only a few places in the general epistles where NA28 changed the NA27 surface text - other changes would be in the apparatus, but I don't know how much.

AFAIK: true.

hm. Difficult to tell. Maybe there's some info on the official NA28 page http://www.nestle-aland.com/en/home/ (auto-redirected from NA28.org which I typed) on the nature and amount of changes in the apparatus.
Have joy in the Lord!

Yes, I asked this question and was told no apparatus.

available? It depends on what your needs are. If you need an electronic apparatus right now go ahead and get NA27 apparatus package. If you need the current version I would be tempted to get a print copy right away. The German Bible Society has been very protective of the NA texts to this point. I would expect <speculation> that for at least a year an electronic NA28 apparatus will not be available. They will probably hold out to get as many people as possible to buy the print copy and only then will they allow electronic versions to be produced </speculation>.

As a purchaser of the GBS package several years ago, both iterations, I would say sit back and wait for the GBS version to come along. For example, since the beginning of Logos' Original Language package in the early 90's, the NA26 and NA27 were offered. It wasn't until the GBS came along that gave us the apparatus. Currently, I never use the Logos, non GBS version, of the the NA27, because I want the apparatus.
When GBS updates their package with Logos is when I'm going to be doing anything "out of my way" to attain the NA28.
And, I agree with Kevin. They are going to hold this out, maybe a few years. I have two NA28's with different bindings on pre-order with Amazon. I'm anxious!

I agree about wanting the apparatus.
I can't really wait for a year though as I have an assignment to do next month that needs an apparatus. I guess I'll have to order the GBS with NA27. Maybe they'll do an upgrade price when NA28 with apparatus comes out?

I didn't see this mentioned in this thread:

UBS4 and NA27, each with apparatus.

I'm working on the NA27 -> NA28 issues at the following site as they impact an English translation. James is done. The rest should be finished soon. This might give a better idea about the changes involved. There should be about 30-35 issues once it's finished. Click on each one to see the result. Feedback can also be provided.
