What "Soon" means or at least approximately means would be helpful.

First off this is not a complaint thread.

I would just like an estimated for the approximate time frame for the activation of the minimal cross grade.

Are we talking any day, a week or two, a month or two?

I fall into the category of very excited (possibly anxious) to upgrade but can't even remotely afford to do the regular upgrade (in my case platinum L4 to platinum L5 is $643) even with the payment plan.

If I new it was more than a couple days I'd quit checking all the time.

Forgive me if its been already said but all I've found was "soon" and one guy saying a rep he talked to on the phone said after Christmas which in my book isn't "soon".  I probably just need to be patient but I don't think it's uncalled for to ask.

The consolidated best guesses have been about two months. I would expect January. It could be sooner, but I would not assume later.

Not a problem at all. :-)

Your second guess is about on track with our current plans.

I would also say that "soon" is not January.

Soon would be next week :)

Thanks for that Phil.

So, just to confirm we will have a cross-grade in a week?

Any indiction of costs for a 'full feature' cross-grade?

The sooner the better so that I can get it paid for before this year's book budget year ends! :)

No official commitment yet, but we're working on it now and could have it live on the website in the next week or two. Again, that's not a guarantee. That represents our current plans. We'll provide a concrete date as soon as it's available.

We're still working on the exact contents that the MCs will include. The smaller one, which might lack one or two features, will probably be between $75 and $150. The larger one, with all the features plus a few core resources, will probably be between $150 and $300, depending on which version of the software you're moving from. For Logos 4 users, it'll be on the lower end of those ranges. For Logos 3, it'll be a bit more expensive. For Logos 2 users, even more.

For Logos 5 Starter to Silver users who are just looking to pick up the missing features, it'll be significantly lower. Dynamic pricing will apply to both products, so the ownership discount will be applied as appropriate.

Very grateful for this information.

Should maybe  be posted in a more prominent place, as I'm sure others will find this more than a little helpful.

So, by ALL resources, do you mean the ones from Gold?  Or including Septuagint translation?  Because if so and it includes the LXX (which I would call a core resource), that larger one is sounding mighty fine right about now ;)

Phil said  "a few core resources" meaning those that are required to make "all the features" work  e.g. Lexham Hebrew Bible, Lexham Greek-English Interlinear:SBL are required for Clause Search (plus the Clause Search data set!). Other features of BWS require new Data Sets.

Thank you Phil for clarifying and for taking time to read/respond to the forums!

Thanks for the update Phil. I am surprised that 1) a tentative date was shared and 2) it is so soon. The new director of marketing over there must be a really cool guy :)
