I upgraded to Logos 5 Verbum on my mac. It installed as a separate app from Logos 4 (so I have both logos 4 and logos 5). Can I uninstall logos 4, or will that break things?

I just don't know. My understanding was Logos 5 installed over Logos 4 and you could not have them side-by-side.  Hopefully Dave Hooton will see this thread.

Same here happened when I installed Logos 5. I deleted Logos 4 using AppCleaner without any problems.

Go ahead and delete the Logos 4 app. From what I understand you will also need to replace the icon in the dock. Do not delete the L4 folder, as that is used by L5 as well (there is some programming reason it can't be renamed).

fgh is correct here. Just wanted to add that you should locate the Logos Bible Software 4 icon in your Applications folder and drag it to the trash. You will not—indeed should not—delete anything else other than the Logos icon on your dock because it is tied to the L4 application.

Logos admits that, in hindsight, they should not have used the version number in that Logos 4 folder, but that cannot be remedied now.

And yes, welcome to the forums. Feel free to ask any Logos related question here. Someone will be awake to assist you.
