but to note, the Bible is not $82, it's for a collection that includes a 7-volume commentary, Bible dictionary, encyclopedia, atlas, and map set + tons of other books and material (of which the NIV84 is included)
Wow...costumers searching out old Libronix releases willing to pay over 80 dollars and jumping through hoops just for the NIV84. This goes to show just how much of a debacle Biblica's decision was.

At some point last year, Logos made a concerted effort to lower the price on a bunch of bibles. Perhaps the price was adjusted then?

Is this version really the classic NIV84, just with British spellings of certain words? I, too, have been looking for the NIV84 and certainly wouldn't mind dealing with spelling variations as long as it's basically the same thing.
Yes Classic NIV 1984 with British spelling.
There might be the odd word which is substituted. i.e we Brits don't use the word rooster.
You will hardly notice the difference.
