I.e. Sometimes, I forget just how many useful media resources I have... would it be possible for me to have, say, "1000 Bible Images" show one of those images randomly as part of my initial desktop every morning? See what I'm saying?
Thanks!

I do agree with your wish to have a specific resource on the Home Page.
BUT, I am not sure that this "image" resource can be (semi or) permanently chosen to show up--it appears that "exerpts" etc appearing on the Home Screen are somehow "hard-wired" in by Logos?
[I realize that you are not asking this--But as you are probably aware] we can influence which Devotionals show up--but that is done through our own Prioritization schema.]
There is the FSD command "Facilitate Serendipitous Discovery" which will open a random resource to a random place, but I don't think you can restrict it to only open one of a select set of resources (say from a collection of media resources). That would be a neat option for them to add to fsd. E.g., fsd in <name of collection>.
I turned FSD into a button (just type FSD, and then when the command appears below it just drag it to your top ribbon). So sometimes I just keep clicking it for awhile and see what comes up! Similar to your desire...
That's a neat idea, Rosie. You really should try it in the current 5.0b beta release and see if it just happens to work...
I don't have the 5.0b beta. I no longer have time to be a guinea pig with beta releases. Even as it is, I come across annoyances in Logos that I need to report way more often than I should with release-quality software.

Welcome [:D] Andrew plus Thanks Rosie [:)]
Dragged command to create a shortcut for FSD in <name of collection>
Keep Smiling [:)]
Very nice. That must indeed be new in 5.0b beta. It doesn't work in 5.0a. Maybe Andrew knew something I didn't and was just goading me to discover it. I didn't see any winky smiley, though, so I thought he was just stabbing randomly in the dark. EDIT: Ah, but now I see he's a member of the Faithlife group "Logos Families" so he must have some inside information... [:)]
