More sources for free dissertations online (use the search engines to look for keywords such as theology):

ProQuest Digital Theses (PQDT)

Theses Canada (Advanced Search) - restrict your search to "Electronic theses" if you want it to be downloadable.

Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations - a single search of electronic thesis and dissertation collections around the world, many with full text for download (appears to be offline at the moment; not sure if that's temporary or not)

Note: check the usage agreements on these sites; generally, these are made available for your personal use only; you can convert to a PB if you want, but probably aren't granted permission to share it online with others

Also some seminaries and universities with theology degrees have searchable indexes of theses available online. Google such terms as open dissertations; free digital theses; online dissertations; and so on, to find them. Here are a few.

DigitalCommons@McMaster

Dallas Theological Seminary Sample Dissertations

Calvin Theological Seminary PhD Dissertations - some just abstracts, but many of them are available in full-text

And here is a metalist of Free Dissertation/Thesis Search Sites:
