THANK YOU for getting my notes preview hover back (on MacBook Retina). One quick adjustment? It takes about 3 seconds to load as opposed to reference verse that is set off to side (via Logos - it is very responsive). Any way to make my hyperlinked verse come up quicker? Again, thank you. This is just my first response and I am very thankful.

It has to have the book and chapter and verse...so it knows which 23:10 to display.

Understood. Has it: logosref:BibleESV.2Ki23.10. Just won't give preview unless I hover over '2 Kgs'.

Thank you for reporting this, I have created a case for this issue. Can you confirm this only occurs when the link wraps to a second line (as is the case with 2 Kgs 23:10 in your screen shot above)?

Yes. That seems to be the norm.

my notes hyperlinked reference (i.e. Acts 7:59 & Luke 16:22) takes about 2-3 seconds to preview, whereas the hyperlink added by Logos (Luke 23:46) is immediate.
That is not just a problem with Retina Displays. It also occurs on my 8-year-old Apple Cinema Displays. Appears that the delay is a L5 Mac issue.

Jack is correct, the issue with the tooltip not displaying for the second line of a link occurs for all users, not just user with Retina displays.
Appears that the delay is a L5 Mac issue.
The current editor in Notes uses a standard Apple text control and the tooltips for links is displayed using Apple's built-in tooltip handling, which I believe still defaults to 2 seconds. When we finish with our new editor, the tooltip delay will be consistent with the rest of the application.

One more thing. It seems to not always respond, specifically to chapters or verses in some cases. Whereas it typically does respond to name of Book (i.e. 2 Kings...but 23:10 attached - no response)
This will be fixed in 5.0b SR-1 and in 4.6b SR-1.
