Had to compress it since it was large...still syncing, btw.  Thinking about shutting down Logos.

Could it be related to a corrupted index?

Thank you for the hotkey.

I want the global CBV hotkey to Copy and Paste. Now it's two steps: first press hotkey and then Alt+P.

There could be a selection in the panel menu to toogle between "Copy and Paste" or just "Copy" the selected passage when pressing hotkey.

Filtered Resource Picker suggestions are now ordered correctly after clearing the filter.

I don't know what this means. What's the "Resource Picker"?

Any control with a blue dotted underline where you can pick a resource (e.g., "Entire Library" in Basic Search panel) is a "resource picker".

Added Bible Text Only visual filter

This seems to set the view to one verse per line, and doesn't eliminate verse numbers. It does get rid of section headings. Not what I expected.

It's pretty much the same as the LDLS3 "Bible Text Only" view, as far as I can tell.

Try looking in the Panel Menu for this one...

Added preference to set resource panel background color

This is pretty cool, though only a few colors may not be enough to satisfy some. I also notice that search panels and other non-resource displays still use the default "White" background. Is that by design? I'm fine with that, just curious. (I do like the subtlety of 'Paper' just right for me).

That's on our list; we've only implemented the setting for resource panels right now.

Haven't tried this, but good idea. What should we advise people who have indexing going, who know they will want to reindex when done?

As a temporary workaround, you could terminate the indexer process. This is not recommended in general, though.

It will be added to Program Settings in the future as well.

Mine ran the sync for a long time, but then settled down. Why the long sync process when there were not changes to user data?

I restarted after syncing for over an hour, and now it's doing it again...I guess I'll let it run all night.  Actually, Logos is stuck on the Preparing Your Library screen this time, so I have no choice.

I have missed the conversation... what is:

1) the benefit to reindexing your library?

2) what are the indicators that one needs to reindex their library?

Hi Ross,

Check 4.0a b2 posts re possible corruption of index. It was a known bug, & several were counseling that we skip 4.0a b2.

At the point that they posted, I had already installed b2.

To ensure my index is not corrupted, I ELECTED (sans anyone's counsel, only for my peace of mind) to reindex.

Possible indicators are bogus search results. (Most if not all of my bogus results were all cockpit error.)

Cool! Very cool!

I notice that the exported data is not the same as what I see on the screen. All potential columns are included, regardless of what is selected. I wonder how much consternation that is going to cause.

I would love to see this added to the other search results schemes as well, especially to verses, although if we can get a printable, copiable, or exportable VerseList, that should suffice.
