If NT Wright wins again, are the same books would be on sale?

"Collections or bundles will not be included in the sale; however, the individual pieces of a collection may be included."

This is my first year... and I'm a bit disappointed.

I was hoping the collection would be included for better price overall....

We worked really hard to include new and/or different titles this year. However, there will probably be some overlap.

Oh, and use these fixed searches to check out the works of each author:

Modern authors

Legacy authors

Hi Mike. Welcome to the forums and welcome to your first Logos March Madness!

Even though collections as a whole won't be offered, there will be nearly 500 titles to go on sale. You're bound to find a stellar deal in there!

Who are you hoping makes it to the final rounds?

I'll take a stab at it. This is who I would expect to see in the final four, not necessarily who I would want to see:

N.T. Wright

D.A. Carson

Spurgeon

Lloyd-Jones

It's not going to happen, but I'd like Best, Barrett and Cranfield to go far so that I can get the best of the ICC volumes without paying thousands.

I'd like to see John Walton's books go far.

Wow, I didn't know Logos carried Jimmy Swaggart...that's embarrassing. Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed

I did know they carried Ray Comfort--that's embarrassing too, just not as much. Embarrassed

Oh be quiet, David. Obviously you've never been to Farriday Louisiana (just east of Frogmore though there's no real proof Mickey Gilley visited Frogmore).  Plus Frances' opus on modern Babylon is not to be missed (not the one in Iraq).

No, haven't been to Farriday...but I'm from New Orleans and have passed by the roach motels on Airline Hwy. many times...

Ah, yes. Those particular motels had many interesting occupants.

In an effort to return this thread to an "unhijacked" status, I offer this observation regarding the brackets...

The criterion separating "modern" vs. "legacy" appears to be living vs. dead. With that in mind...Deut. 30:19

...because Mk. 12:27.

God wants you to choose the Modern bracket!! Yes

...or else! Lightning

If I recall correctly, last year there was a bit of frustration from some participants that some authors were made victorious through, well let's say some slightly unethical methods. Anyways, it's not against the rules per se, however it can irk some to no end.

Hello David

I like Ray Comfort, and he has done some good books ("Hitler, God, and the Bible" to name one).  And I believe he has done alot for the cause of Christ, I hope that by the time I am done I hope to have done a small fraction of what he has done.

I would hope so too...the smaller the better.

Nevertheless, to each his own.
