The app should auto update, but you can always download
the latest release from:

Logos 4 Mac Alpha 7 Change Log

Search

  • Bible search
allows you to switch between Grid, Aligned, Verses or Datasheet views, although only Verses and Aligned are implemented.
  • Search results are now paged, so additional pages of results are now accessible
  • Myriad UI cleanup in the search results views.
  • Fixed a crash when switching between Bible search results views.

Layouts

  • Saved layouts
are available in the Layout menu from the toolbar.
  • Layouts are
not currently sorted, so they may not appear in the correctly sorted order.

Guides

  • Bible Word
Study ring graph is animated when a segment is selected.
  • Bible Word Study Translation Section includes an initial implementation of the concordance view when a segment is selected.

Indexing

  • Due to an
index corruption bug in previous Alphas (also in Windows
4.0a Beta 2), a "rebuild index" command has been added that allows users to force reindexing your entire library immediately. NOTE: It is not necessary to run this command unless you have a corrupted index.

Miscellaneous

  • Fixed a crash
that occurred with linking a commentary collection and a
Bible in a link set and scrolling to a Bible location
which caused the commentary collection to load a different volume.
  • Fixed a crash
that occurred if the user had selected a different currency than the default for their locale in System
    Preferences.
  • CTRL-CLICK should now display the context menu in resources.

Known issues:

  • Closing tab
panels sometimes causes the app to hang, particularly with Guides. This is a bug with a third party open source
    framework we are using.
We are working with the open source community to resolve
    this bug.
