What does "expand all timeline groups" mean or do?

Hi all,

I saw his shortcut in the list wiki page = "expand all timeline groups = Ctrl+E"

I have tried to figure out what it really does, how it works, I have open timeline and executed the command but nothing happens. Could anyone tell me how can I see this shortcut working?

I will ad here one more questions:

The command: 

open/close Customize home page menu = Alt+C

I cannot see it working on Logos 5. Could it be only for L4?
