I would like to take a chapter from UBS and print the text and morphology below it. When I go to print, the preview looks perfect, but no matter if I save/copy to Word, save to text, or copy to clipboard, it will only print the surface text, not the morphology below it. If I send it to a printer, it does print as shown in the preview.

Is this intended behavior? If so, could it be changed? Or am I missing something?

Curious about Logos and Word versions ?

Using Logos 5.1 Beta 3 on OS X 10.8.3 able to replicate Print/Export to a new Word for Mac 2011 document does not show morphology, but copy to clipboard and paste has surface text and morphology, albeit Word cannot handle all the visual filter highlighting:

Print to PDF includes morphology plus all visual filter highlighting:

Copied Philippians 4:4-9 from NA27 with McReynolds English Interlinear to clipboard then pasted:

I'm using Logos 5 beta 3 and Word 2011. Everything I have tried has been through the print dialog rather than just select/copy/paste. I tried saving as PDF, and that did work, but the other options (sending to word, pasting to word, saving as text) only captured the surface text.

A very recent thread (last week in fact) complained about the same issue.  Apparently Word won't do 'interlinear' but instead does 'tables'.  So Logos knows how to do tables and so copy/paste they view as sort of a hack.

Frankly, even if Word knew how to do interlinear (similar to Word knowing how to skip rope), it's far easier to paste into Excel where it's easier to format, sort, count, and compare quickly, and then paste the final into Word.

I'm ok with it pasting as a table in to word if it would do it. What I like to do is dump a chapter at a time, add some extra blank spaces between the lines, then print to the printer. I use the extra space as work space for translating. Being very rusty, having the morphology info close at hand is very useful.

May want to update signature line, which has "Logos 4 Mac (always the latest beta)"

Couple ideas: Logos 5 and 4 have Documents => Sentence Diagrams: insert Greek Text with Morphology as alternate line.  In the Sentence Diagram can add text boxes with translation.  Also could create a Personal Book Bible with translated chapters for use in Logos.

Logos have explained that the preview is for Print only, not Export.
