Does this mean that eastern orthodox is going to have a package like Verbum soon? I know there had been talk about eastern orthodox books being published. But I don't remember seeing confirmation of a package..

Blair,
I can't really comment on any future products, but we are open to all possibilities, especially as driven by our users and their interests.
For now, I would ask that anyone interested in more of these resources to show your support, and please bring any desired books or collections to my attention. I'm here to listen and to provide the best possible products for our Logos community. Feel free to contact me anytime!
In peace,Gabe
P.S. We just added another new Eastern Orthodox collection to Community Pricing today: http://www.logos.com/product/31463/history-of-the-holy-eastern-church
Gabe, some comments/suggestions:
• The blog post. I suggest double posting on the Verbum blog as well. Many Catholics probably only read the Verbum blog feed, and right now I would assume them to be your biggest customer group, so introducing yourself to them might be a good idea.
• The Orthodox Product List. I presume you haven't finished tagging yet? Because if you believe you have, I can come up with a few more for you.[:)] (Coming to think of it, I learnt recently that it can take a day or two for these tags to show up, so perhaps you've tagged more than currently shows up?)
• The History of the Holy Eastern Church. You've listed the author as John Mason Neale. Logos already sells several books by him under the name of J M Neale, but because the names aren't identical, they don't show up on the website as being by the same author. And we will also need the same author name in the metadata when the books ship. Hayley Price, who handles metadata issues, might be the best person to talk to in order to decide on which name to use throughout. I support the full name, but then the present metadata needs to be changed.
You might also want to check that the presentations of him don't contradict each other or something. A quick look showed that at least one of the other product pages mentions your book title, which means a link ought to be added there.
• Popular Patristics, part 1 - when will we see the remaining parts?[:D]
• In the comments on Get Updates on Products in the Anglican Tradition there's someone who wants to get in touch with the new Lutheran Product Manager, when he starts.
fgh,
Thank you for the heads-up on the Neale works. I'll touch base with our copy-writing and web teams to ensure there's consistency, and that this new work is linked-to from his bio on other collections. Great call out!
For various reasons I can't get into, we'll be keeping Orthodox things separate from Verbum. There's also a method to the madness as to why some works aren't "tagged" Orthodox and others are, so you'll just have to trust that there's a greater purpose in mind. [:)]
As far as the Popular Patristics series, I'm confident that you'll see more works from our collaboration with SVS Press in the future. Stay tuned!
Gabe, just wanted to let you know that there are many excited about the attention the Orthodox material is starting to get from Logos, including me, a Catholic of an Eastern rite (Melkite). Obviously since we have a LOT in common with the Orthodox tradition.

OK... now you made me really curious... give us a hint?
I can make some quick assumptions as to why which make sense. However, when they share a millenium this should prove amusing to watch ... even more so if I consider the uniate churches.
P.S. I still think Verbum should have been labeled "Liturgical Churches" rather than Catholic which probably shows why I was never in marketing. Back to that nasty human trait of us & them ... and the amount of effort that uselessly goes into proving us couldn't possibly be them.
Thank you, that means a lot! I'm very excited about being able to bring these resources to the Logos family.
May be possible to recruit a translator given the post Bob P. made today:
