I just installed the Christian History Magazine upgrade files on my Mac.  I assumed this upgrade would include the page numbers from the original text, but I do not see them.  Is this an error, or is there no page numbers on these resources?

The original was a very early resource, back before page numbers started being included. Unless they were intentionally added when the old files were converted from the 2-file (*.lsf, *.lix) format used by LLS to the new 1-file (*.lbxlls) format used by LDLS, they won't be there. It would be a good addition to the magazines.

I'm certainly hopping that the new Christian History magazine (coming out soon?) files will be paginated and properly generate footnotes.

It seems that when Logos rebuilds files from the old two file format that they haven't always used that opportunity to add page numbers and other taqgging. For instance R C Sproul works that were just rebuilt still has about half of his books without page numbers, The same goes for the older volumes of the IVP NT Commentary Series. For me Page numbers are just the tip of the iceberg of work that needs to be done on older resources to bring them up to par to today's standards. I know tagging costs real money, but as the flow increases of new titles the gap will just get wider. After all it's the tagging that sets Libronix books head and shoulders above the competition.

I noticed the latest Christian History upgrade went live 8/31. I still have not received my notice. :(

When I look at the Christian History & Biography Magazine pre-pub page (there still is one) it says expected ship date is 9/17/09?

Aye, it's projected ship/download date has been moved ahead to the 17th. While I am eagerly awaiting its release, with everything on my pre-pub plate scheduled to go live this month - 87 vols of Spurgeon on the 14th, along with other pricey pre-pubs - I don't suppose waiting another week or so for CH&B is necessarily a negative ... at least for me, anyway! Well I've just recieved my Christian History Magazine and downloaded it.  I've opened Issue 25, and Lo and Behold... No pagination!

Most Americans today probably would fail even to identify Dwight Lyman Moody as a nineteenth-century evangelist. Yet during his day, he was internationally renowned.

Christian History Magazine-Issue 25: Dwight L. Moody: 19th c. Evangelist. 1990. Worcester, PA: Christian History Institute.
