What is Logos going to do to celebrate? Perhaps a special gift or discount is in order for forum users only?
Using adventure and community to challenge young people to continually say "yes" to God

Sorry Ray, I'm not letting you off the hook that easy. Who posted the 500,000 post that we see today?
There are several ways to count it. I've asked the Development team to write up an explanation.Should be ready shortly.

Lynden, are you doubting it was me?
After careful calculation to determine exactly when the forum post count rolled over to 500,000, and careful re-check of my calculations, the 500,000th post is... our own Brian Williams: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/72922/508000.aspx#508000
The determination was that it was the nth post prior to the last time the post count was calculated, where n is the number of posts over 500,000 at the time that the post count was calculated.

Not fair. The first poster after Brian who is not an employee wins.
If I had known we were only one away I would have delayed! Thank you for being dedicated Logos (and Vyrso) customers, I've enjoyed working with all of you!
Oh well. Time to start counting down to the 1,000,000 post.
That's the spirit.

Say what!!! You mean it wasn't me. Talk about having my expectations raised only to have them dashed to pieces! Is this any way to celebrate the 500,000th post?
Look on the bright side ... their count was 'Non-troll-or-otherwise-badly-behaved-posts' (eg deleted). Else we would have hit the magic mark far earlier!
