Handwriting Input Panel not working in Notes

Just upgraded to Windows 8.1 on a ThinkPad X60 Tablet. Unfortunately the Tablet Input Panel has stopped working properly in Notes. Text input works when using the onscreen keyboard. But when the handwriting input panel is used, no text is inserted after tapping the "Insert" button. However handwriting input does work elsewhere in the program. For example, writing "Update Now" and inserting that command at the top of the screen works fine. Any help, greatly appreciated.

you can edit the subject field if you wish - click "more" and then "edit"

this is available for about 10 hours after making the post

We have an open case for this issue internally; I'll update it with a link to this thread. I don't currently have an estimate for when it might be fixed, sorry.

Thanks, look forward to hearing from you in due course. If it helps, I can advise that rebooting the system did not resolve the situation.

Just updated to Logos Version 5.2.1.0131 and I can report that this issue remains unresolved.

FYI, I updated to Logos 6 this weekend, hoping the problem might be solved but unfortunately the problem persists.  It must be a pain for those who are using pen based tablets such as Asus Vivotabs, Dell Venue Pros, Lenovo and ThinkPad Tablets.

Any chance of getting this issue being promoted up the priority list?
