Just today, the Logos app (v5.1b SR-3 for Mac) and LogosIndexer both attempted to connect to a domain I don't recognize:

secure.footprint.net

I blocked both attempts using LittleSnitch because I don't recognize the affiliation of this domain to Logos.  However, now I don't seem to be able to download updates.

Can someone at Logos explain why this connection is being made to a non-Logos site so I can better understand the risk of letting it proceed?

It's a CDN we're currently using to deliver updates; you should permit access.

In the future, you may also see connections to *.logoscdn.com sites; we own that domain and any connections from Logos should be permitted.
