I have the same issue. I run logos on a mac and have started it about five times now and after about a minute it quits unexpectedly. I don't know how to attach a log file. There was an update last night that I downloaded, but it ran fine afterward.

You can check all the info on how to create a log file here:

PS: BTW, I already deleted logos and installed the latest version but that didn't help.

Hi Liam,

I don't know for sure but I think you have to create your own posting with the log file ;-)

Regards,
Jeroen

Jeroen, there were reports of this same issue many times last evening. Try opening to a blank screen as described here: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/77855.aspx

Logos needs to look into this issue. It seems to be something Logos is trying to put on the Home Page that is causing the trouble.

Thanks Mark, this seems to work!

If you click on the Home Page to open it, it will probably crash. One work-around can be found here: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/77842/544292.aspx#544292

Work around C/P:

There is. Everyone on Mac having this problem, try the following:

  1. Start Logos with the Cmd key pressed down.
  2. When the dialogue box appears, choose Offline mode.
  3. When Logos is open, click on the little gear-wheel at the bottom left of the Home Page and uncheck Verse of the Day.
  4. Restart normally to get back to online mode.

Tom Philpott (Logos) reported in another thread—or two—that this problem has now been fixed.
