The more I learn to use and use Logos 5 the more amaze I am at what it can do and how incredibly helpful it can be to me in deeper study of God's Word.

It is regrettable that I see some people constantly complaint and criticize Logos. Yes, we all can agree that is not perfect (what is) and it can be improve. I am sure they everyone in Logos agree with that and that is why they're continuously working to improve it. I am certainly looking forward to Logos 6 and see what new great tools they can come up with.

In my search for reviews on Logos it was sad to see how many characterized Logos as just a library of resources. Although most of them are honest points of view of the writers, after learning Logos I realize that their opinions are based more on ignorance of how Logos can do for them.

I have great appreciation for Mark Barnes, John Fallahee and Morris Proctor for helping me begin to gasp the depth of Logos 5. It does have a learning curve, but once is done, the rewards are awesome!

It is also regrettable to hear some complain about resources include in Logos. It is sad to hear how some are quick to dismiss old resources as useless. I'll guess it is a sign of the arrogance of the age we live in. But the fact is that Logos offer the Bible student an unparalleled wealth of resources for an incredible affordable price. With logos I now can open and use books that I never though I could before.

I am also thankful at the way Logos does business. With their financing and dynamic upgrades I am able to save money and get the resources I need.

Logos iPad app is just about the best out there. Intuitive, elegant and extremely useful. Love to see the Exegetical guide add it to the mobile app.

Logos 5 helps make exciting to study God's Word because I know I have the tools to explore God's Word as deep as I want to.

My hope for 2014 is to see less complainers in the forums and more thankful people.

Happy 2014!

Agree!  With Logos (and other similar software that are on the market today), and with some basic understanding of the tools that are included in version 5, you can search through a very large amount of information in seconds. We have been spoiled with not only the amount of digital resources that are available for research and study, but also the methods to extract data from those resources.

I am also thankful that Logos Bible Software has provided a way to purchase only resources that we don't own in our existing library.

One of the biggest challenges for many is the management of data that Logos can present during a search or from a report. Information overload is an interesting field of study. A challenge is to come up with precise and accurate search parameter syntax that also are simple and logical to implement and do not require a computer science degree to use.

Hi Kevin,

We all do it.  That is my prayer for 2014, to refrain as much as I can from it. :)
