I just got a new PC and was able to upgrade to Logos 5.

What are some good searches or actions to test the speed of my PC with Logos? (I might need exact spelled-out searches, as it's been awhile since I've worked with the commands.)

And what readouts am I looking for (e.g., # results in xx seconds or what)?

My configuration is:

Intel i7-4771 @3.5 GHz, Quad-Core (4th generation Haswell processor) on 1150 motherboard
16 GB DDR3 RAM
Logos 5 is installed on a 240 GB SSD (not sure the brand or speed)
1 GB dedicated video card (which will likely be upgraded soon to 2 GB and a higher-powered card)
Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit OS

Are you saying this configuration might be overkill? :)

I looked at the recommended configuration and upped it a little bit. I don't play PC games but I have some photo/video projects in mind that I want to be ready for - spend a few extra hundred now and be reasonably set for the next few years. I bought my last PC nearly 9 years ago (May 2005). I'd like to think more in terms of every 5 years, if desirable.

Thanks! I have 4747 resources on my iPhone; not sure how many more will be on the desktop.

I'm thinking of speed tests for morph and syntax searches.

Similar, but with considerably less resources. A search for definite article in Greek Morph resources or Greek Syntax search should be done in abt. 0.8 - 1.25s for Logos Greek Morph and under 3s for Hebrew Syntax (don't worry about Hebrew morph with so few resources).
