If I am not mistaken, the Android app used to regularly and automatically update the library so that new books would appear (not download, just list them). For the past few months the only way to refresh the library and repopulate the list with the latest purchases, is to turn my ASUS Transformer off (not just exit the app). Have I done something wrong (like unwittingly change a setting) or has the app changed? Either way, can I update the library whilst still in the app? Thank you for you time.

Well, if it makes you feel better, I've got Lewis & Short all put to bed on L5 and am now exporting it to Libronix (just joking). However iPad-Lady's whining there's no L&S to be had. Why else would I need L&S but to feed Noet?

As far as I know, nothing has changed. The app should try to update your library when it first starts, and then at least once per hour while the app is open.

Try starting the app from scratch (make sure it's closed first) and then waiting about 20-30 seconds while it sits on the home page, then go to the "Help" screen and tap "Send Support Info" to send me your log data. Change the email address in the "To:" field to drew DOT hannay AT logos DOT com.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it doesn't do this. I've had it open all day & Lewis & Short hasn't shown up.

Sean, do You mean that an earlier version of the Android 4.0.x app searched for old books that had new updated Libronix or Logos4 -files? I hope so. If that's so I'll keep my old aps in my tablets. It's laborious to manually check for new files, delete and re-download the books in both (or either!) tablet(s). I'm not talking about new purchases. A command to do this would be nice but that would require a lot of expensive programming.

There appears to have been a problem with the log file being empty.  What version of Android are you running on your Transformer?

Kevin, I'm also having issues with the Notes not syncing well.

I use my iPad more on the Notes, so it is very crucial that the Note syncs.

Thanks!

ps: Please reply on this thread too please.. Bug on iPad

Thanks, all, for alerting us to this issue. We've discovered what's going on, and we are currently working to fix it.

The good news: you *will* have access to Lewis & Short soon.
The bad news: it might take a week or so before it shows up on your device.

The Lewis & Short resource isn't the only resource suffering this problem. Here are a few others (sorry about the terse nature of this list... it's basically a database dump):

La Palabra: El Mensaje de Dios para mí
Baedae Opera Historica, Vols. 1 & 2
Baedae Opera Historica, Vols. 1 & 2 (Latin Text)
Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Church
The Conflict of Christianity with Heathenism
The Eastern/Greek Orthodox Bible: New Testament
The Age of Justinian and Theodora: A History of the Sixth Century AD, Vols. 1 & 2
Harpers' Latin Dictionary
Historical Commentaries on the State of Christianity during the First Three Hundred and Twenty-Five Years, Vols. I & II
Luke 2: A Commentary on the Gospel of Luke 9:51-19:27
A History of the Church from the Earliest Ages to the Reformation, Vols. I-III
Institutes of Ecclesiastical History, vols. 1-4
Understanding Christian Mission: Participation in Suffering and Glory
Natural History, Volume III: Books VIII-XI
Natural History, Volume VIII: Libri XXVIII-XXXII: Latin Text
Natural History, Volume X: Books XXXVI-XXXVII
A Plain Introduction to the Criticism of the New Testament, Vol. II
Philosophumena or the Refutation of All Heresies, Vols. I & II
Persecution in the Early Church: A Chapter in the History of Renunciation
Pre-Exilic Israel, the Hebrew Bible, and Archaeology: Integrating Text and Artefact
St. Basil and Greek Literature
Tertullian, Vol. I: Apologetic and Practical Treatises
1 Corinthians (Vang)
Textual Criticism of the Bible
The Works of Thomas Adams: Being the Sum of His Sermons, Meditations, and Other Divine and Moral Discourses, Vols. I-III

Like I said, give us a few days and these resources (if you're licensed for them) will show up on your mobile device like nothing was ever the matter.

I talked to the server team yesterday...basically what's going on is that the server is indexing a FULL Logos library (all 40,000+ books). I believe they started the process around the time that James replied, and it took several days to run. As it was nearing completion, they found a bug in the indexer that caused the process to stop and need to start over (users had never encountered this indexer bug since no user owns all 40,000+ books). As far as I know, they've fixed the bug and started the indexing process over again. I can't give an estimate on when it will be completed because I honestly don't know. Thank you all for your patience and I apologize for this major delay.

Hi, Drew. Thanks for the update. Yes
