I'd second the suggestions on clippings and searches. I would also second the suggestion that shorter sessions dealing with individual topics would be useful to make up a reference library of videos. Alternatively, it would be nice to make wiki entries with topics indexed by the start times. The Logos user community could provide this.
RayDeck3: Floyd Johnson: OK - I signedup, now how do I watch it? I apologize for the confusion. We left a checkbox unchecked so our confirmation emails were not being delivered yesterday. We will send you a reminder email with a link the day before.

In spite of signing up, I never received information on how to watch this. I left home this AM forgetting all about it. So now, where will I find it on YouTube?

Rosie Perera: I'd love to see one on Note taking in Logos: the basics (which I know) but also more advanced stuff, best practices, how to organize them in a smart way, how to find stuff in them once you've made them, etc. That's probably the area I'm taking the least advantage of in Logos right now that I would like to be doing more with. Most of my experience is using the feature when it was quite buggy in beta, and I've got tons of junk note files lying around and really no clear direction forward as to how to make better use of the feature.

Yes, yes! I think this would built on today's webinar. We know how to organize our libraries better, now let's learn how to take notes better!

Floyd Johnson:So now, where will I find it on YouTube?
I too forgot all about it [got no reminder or link] so went here
https://www.logos.com/webinar
and it eventually loaded.
I could tell that it was todays from his Home Screen display.
[There was quite a "lag" time at the beginning. Try to experiment mouse or drag over until about 21 minutes in ?]

Thanks - found the one hour webinar. The audio (with introduction) starts at 18:58 into the presentation.

It's not up yet, but I presume they have to do some editing first for to prepare it for posting, get rid of any glitches, dead air, whatever. And they'll likely need to set up a new channel for webinars under their YouTube account. So watch this space over the coming days: https://www.youtube.com/user/LogosBibleSoftware. Hopefully it will be up there soon, and someone can post a link in this thread about it once they see it there.

I echo the suggestions of posts prior that there would be more webinars/tutorial videos on ways to make better use of notes and clippings.
I found today's webinar to be informative, and I learned a couple new tricks and shortcuts for using L5. Thank you, Logos!
Bought John Fallahee's package about a year ago. Nothing new here and I don't need notes, clippings, or syntax searches. Not sure what I need now.
Increasing the length of the webinars to 1.5 or 2.0 hours and adding multiple webinars, labeling them Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced would be a good addition. On this webinar, it seems like the presenter was a bit stretched for time.
I missed it. Will it be available for a download, and will you offer future ones we can take?

Yes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3QENcs4mik
And yes, more coming for sure.

That's correct. I've edited the video to remove that, but YouTube takes a couple hours to process those edits.
hey Ray,
The video was very very basic and I'm thankful.
But would you please do an intermediate one? (collections with more rules, advance searching, clause search, morph search)

Excellent! I'll watch it soon.
Thanks!
Take heart that your trial run showed the Guru something he didn't know. Seriously, We will gain new insights from more webinars. I encourage you to continue. ... God Bless

All in all, this was a good webinar and quality presentation.
Hello All, glad you enjoyed the last webinar. The next one up—scheduled for July 15—focuses search, specifically basic, bible, and clause. Email invitations and a blog post about it are scheduled for a few weeks from now, but I thought you might like an early heads-up.

The early head-up is always appreciated. Thanks.
