Well, we have some new dates. These are the changes since the last time I checked.
Numbers: 2015 instead of 20141 & 2 Chronicles: 2015 instead of 2014Nahum, Habakkuk & Zephaniah: 2015 instead of 2014Galatians: 2016 instead of 2014Philippians: 2015 instead of 20141 & 2 Thessalonians: 2016 instead of 2014
None of the 13 books previously listed as "TBA" have anything more promising (Judges & Ruth, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Amos & Jonah & Micah, John, Acts, Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Colossians, 1 Peter, 2 Peter & Jude)
That is a bit disappointing again, since we were told to expect some update on these titles.
André Kamphuis: We will be updating many of the TBA dates on the website soon, as well as pushing out the final estimated completion date to 2022.
More delays for the EEC, friends... :-(
This means that all nine volumes that were expected to be released in 2014, won't make it any time soon.
Unfortunately, none of the books with TBA have anything more definite.
The product page remains optimistic though: "The entire 44-volume set will be available in 2019—an unprecedented publication timetable for a commentary of this magnitude."
If no new volumes get delivered, I might want to consider a refund, and focus on commentary volumes that do exist and I can use. I was not expecting that so few volumes would become available before 2015 when I payed the price for this whole series.
This continues to be a disappointment!
I'm concerned that if I pass away- will the person I'm leaving my library to be able to get these resources?
Just kidding! I knew the score when I bought this resource, and yessssss! knew delays were inevitable. So I'll just try to live with best I can.
But just in case, if I do pass away, i might just hang around to make sure they have a "ghost" of a chance getting them
