CRASH: 5.2b Beta 3 Mac
Created this Syntax Search. Hit Search. So far, so good.
In the search pane noted that I had selected "All Passages:, but I wanted the Pauline Epistles. Selected my range "Romans - Philemon".
CRASH—Repeatable.
When I select "Romans - Philemon" from the Syntax Search pane and then click "Search", Logos does not crash. I have never tried this scenario previously, so do not know if this is a new problem of a previously existing one.
Summary: The crash only occurs when changing the range from the search pane after running a syntax search.

I had not named the search range mentioned in the previous posts. In order to rename it, I first needed to delete and recreate the range. After doing this, Logos did not crash when changing range after initiating the search. Guess I need some further research into this crash.
Can no longer make the app crash with this scenario—that's good, but why was it repeatable previously?

I'm currently able to reproduce this, and have created a case. Glad you aren't reproducing it anymore [:)] but we'll let you know what we find.

In my line of work, being able to reproduce an issue is a good thing. [:)] And if it isn't affecting a user (anymore), all the better! [:D]

Could not make it crash with several changes to the search range. However, after the initial report in this thread, I could not repeat the crash. Glad you folks could not only reproduce but could also fix the bug. [B] Tell Bob to give you a root beer on me (Southern Baptist, no hi-octane beverages) [:D]
