Logos does not tax the GPU much.

Definitely the first option.

Keep in mind that with an integrated GPU (Option 1) the system will set aside a portion of the memory for graphics operations.

quad core is the better option - but Steve is right. Make sure you have lots of ram.

Your best investment though - whichever processor - is going to be a solid state drive.
