I'm looking for a resource that will help me get started with Logos 5. For instance, how to best set up the home page for Bible study, etc. I feel like I'm only using 10% of what the software can actually do and really want to step it up. Are there any good resources / blogs out there?
Thanks!
There are some great Logos tutorials and training videos.
Mark Barnes has created a great set of Logos instruction videos, which are free. Check out http://www.logosbiblesoftwaretraining.com/
Learnlogos.com has a very good and complete set of videos that gives an overview of all the Logos features. You get a lot of video material for something like $45. Check out http://www.learnlogos.com/Learn_Logos_Training_Bundle_s/1814.htm
There are also the Morris Procter videos. They are good, but also expensive.
Personally, I would recommend you to go for the learnlogos.com video's.
Rick, I would second the learnlogos resources. When I first started, I felt a lot like you are describing. Going through only about 1/5 of the learnlogos orange lesson material has greatly improved my proficiency with the program!
FWIW I bought the bundle that provides orange, blue, and green sets of videos. I can't wait to dig more deeply into each of these!
Thanks guys! I've never heard of the learnlogos.com videos before. That looks like a great deal for 45 dollars. I may end up trying that out!
I am sure you won't regret it and you should certainly get your money's worth.
The free online Logos tutorials and training videos are also excellent.
