Do you remember briefly introducing PB sync in version 5.2? While it was there I uploaded four resources, and since then all four have tried and failed to sync back to my machine. I've put up with it since, but it's a real pain because the download cancels indexing, so I have to go offline every time I add a new resource or get an update (which, with freebies, is several times a week).

But it's still happening in 5.3, which suggests I might need some manual intervention at the server end. I've tried re-uploading all my PBs, checked various databases and the BITS queue, and can't see where I can fix it at my end.

Here are my logs:

Thanks. I'm not the only one who did this (Fred has, too, perhaps others).

I think I'm in the same boat, thus constantly seeing a 1.3 MB download that never arrives.

Mark, can you zip up and send me  {yourLogosDir}\Data\{userToken}\UpdateManager\Updates.db file to logosbugs@logos.com with "Attn: Mitch" in the subject?

Ok, it was as I suspected: There is some stale data that is left over from a server side bug a couple months back.

Mark, you should be able to delete that db file (/UpdateManager/Updates.db) to fix the problem.

Let me know if it works for you.

would this apply to others with the same issue (e.g. me) as well?

You are welcome to try; it won't have any adverse affects. I wouldn't know for sure it was the same problem unless I saw the contents of your db as well. If you have any entries in Updates.db that end in ".tmp" it is a good bet you are having the same issue.

I found a workaround: copy the *.lbspbb files ans run a scan command.
