While the availability of sending to Kindle in the latest PC beta makes that option attractive, I am looking for a solution that does not sacrifice other tablet uses (don't want to have several devices when I could have one that does it all).
I have been reading about the Onyx 65 Afterglow and it seems suitable, but I would like to hear from Logos users who have specifically used it with Logos: is it suitable? Issues?
I look forward to feedback.
Alternatively, if you use a BETTER model even from a different brand, I'd welcome your feedback as well. Remember, I am not merely looking for e-ink, but for e-ink + Android (and it should not be an ancient version).
I haven't used it, but I did notice it has Android 2.3. Who knows how long that will be supported by Faithlife.

Note that here is the first Android 4.2 e-ink reader. i.e., the first that supports Hebrew fonts in Logos. I don't think anyone on the forum has tested it. No Google Play, but you can just install the program using the downloaded file.
From what I have read so far, no one has found that sweet product that just does it right. Onyx models are not bad but have some issues. Some of the other products are too old (version of Android) to be useful. Hopefully a major player can tap into this market soon!
I have an Onyx Boox T68 - runs ICS (Android 4.04), has a 6.8 in screen, resolution is the same as a Kobo Aura HD, eInk as well. A number of people (myself included) have run into issues with bootloops and other problems. I had to return two T68s until I got one that worked well.
However, if you don't run into these issues, the T68 is worth considering. I find that it runs the Logos (or Verbum) app generally very well. When reading a resource, it looks as good as a reading app that was designed for eInk. Page turns can be a little slow or take a second tap. Passage guides and exegetical guides work well. Highlighting works (just remember that the colors are now shades of gray!), but can be tricky at times.
The Icarus Illumina (also sold as the Boyue T61 or T62) is smaller (6 in screen) and the screen resolution is a little less. It runs Android 4.2.2. It costs a little less as well. I haven't actually seen one, but initial reports online are promising.

I like the look of the Onyx Boox Afterglow 2 and I'm just about to pull the trigger on one! http://blog.the-ebook-reader.com/2014/11/07/onyx-boox-afterglow-2-released-with-android-4-2-and-hd-e-ink-screen/
For those that are interested. I just posted a brief review of the Onyx Boox Afterglow 2.

I'm loving using it!
