10a crashes on startup for me as well.  The application will open, but about 3 seconds later (nothing actually shows up, just a blank window) it will crash.  I won't have the option of doing anything.  I'm on a 24" iMac, 3.06 Ghz, 4 Gb RAM, 500 Gb HDD (150 Gb free) Mac OSX 10.5.8.  Anyway I can revert back to 9?

Dale

I had the same problem with A-10a when I downloaded it right after A-10 came out.  I am running Snow Leopard and A-10 worked ok for me so I reverted back to it until they can fix the problem with A-10a

Don't think mine stays open for even 3 seconds. It crashes before I can see or read anything.

In the timespan between Alpha 10 and 10a, a change was made to the shared code that resulted in a crash when opening certain resources. We are working on a fix and should have an updated Alpha 10b released shortly.

How do you download 10b if 10a crashes on startup?

Jay, please see the link in my signature. It is the same post pinned to the top of his forum. The link in that post is always updated with the latest alpha so you can always get the link in that same post. Blessings.

http://www.logos.com/logos4mac always points to the current version. That's the link Joe was referring to in his post.

Yes, to be clear it is item #7 in the FAQ. It is helpful though to read the whole FAQ as well brother. :-)
