Most windows experience scrolling hangs and glitches, with some hangs/glithces taking a few seconds to resolve. Scrolling a 'page' can take a number of seconds, and it seems the mouse scrolls are in some way placed into a fifo and keep going even long after I am done scrolling.

I am currently running Logos Bible Software 6.0a SR-16.0.1.1317

I have a Mac Pro (Mid 2010)

3.33 GHz-6 core XEON

16 GB 1333MHz RAM

AMD Radeon HD 7950 3072 MB

512 GB SSD

ESV as the only open window hangs for any scroll, but this improves is scaling is default. It does not solve with scaling as default, but it does improve.

The worst I have seen so far is opening a Factbook on 'Prayer'. This window hangs for longer periods of time, up to a few second before any movement. However, I have noticed if the Mac 'Activity Monitor' is open on top of Logos, the scrolling works great. I have captured log files - I think - and I try the upload thing in a minute.

I loaded Windows 8 into a VMWare Fusion machine on my Mac, installed Logos 6, and let it index to completion. Scrolling the same Prayer Factbook within this Windows 8 VM was smoother than my Mac version. Certainly that means something.

L6 works quite a bit smoother overall when opened within the virtual machine on my Mac. Hopefully we can get the Mac version working a little better soon.
