ἑαυτὸν will not open up in BDAG but opens in NASB dictionary instead

It may be the tagging, I'm not sure why. But at 1 John 5:18 in the NA28, L5 cannot find ἑαυτὸν in the BDAG lexicon. It's there if I manually search for it, but double clicking on ἑαυτὸν in the text or even using the contextual menu will not call up BDAG for the lexical form of ἑαυτὸν.

I forgot to mention that there are other lexicons prioritized after BDAG and the NASB is not one of them, but oddly they too are bypassed and L5 takes me to NASB instead. Can't get any other lexicon to open for ἑαυτὸν.

Behaviour confirmed on L6.

It works as expected for other occurrences, e.g 1 John 3:3.

I think part of the problem is that in the NA 27 it uses αὐτὀν rather than ἑαυτοῦ.  It would appear that the tagging hasn't caught up with the textual change.  According to Tischendorf the original hand of Alexandrinus and Vaticanus have αὐτὀν which is what the NA27 uses, but the NA28 chooses to go with ἑαυτοῦ which is read by the corrector of Alexandrinus as well as Sinaiticus and several other mss.

The reason seems to be that ἑαυτὸν is not in the Logos Morphology for this text - check e.g. the ESV RI (or Scrivener) - as opposed to 1 Jn 3:3

Lee, maybe you could clarify what do you want Logos to do - update the morphology to include all textual variants?

(in NA28) double clicking on ἑαυτὸν in the text or even using the contextual menu will not call up BDAG for the lexical form of ἑαυτὸν

Correct this unexpected behaviour, or document it.
