1) I wanted to search one of my Resource Collections today but was surprised to see that the Collection I wanted to search did not appear in the drop down list on my iPad.  I checked my phone and the Collection was not listed there either.  The missing Collection is one that I created several weeks ago, and it does appear in my list of Collections in Logos 5 for Mac.

2) I later modified the name of another Collection (using L5 Mac), but the iOS devices continue to show the old name for that particular Collection.

I've tried a re-sync on the Mac, closing and re-starting the iOS apps, and rebuilding the indexes on the iOS apps.  None of those things brought the lists of Collections up to date on the iOS devices.

Has anybody else experienced this problem, and does anybody have any ideas about how to fix it?

There's no chance that I've maxed out the number of collections the iOS apps can handle, right?

I am on Android so don't know if I can help. But there are no collections on the app as far as I recall.

On iOS app you can use collections in the search tab.  I've never thought to check if they matched my desktop.

It is my limited memory that collections info doesn't necessary fully sync... I could be wrong. I know that this has been an issue at some point, but I don't use the iPad to perform many searches.

Thanks, Alabama.

Has anybody else out there run into this problem or a resolution?

Logos/Faithlife Team, do you have a bug report on this problem?

Collections should sync fine but may require a restart of Logos Desktop followed by a force-sync on your iPad (i.e., tap the Home button and open the app again).

I'm also experiencing this problem and I tried these suggestions (among other things) and I still cannot get the latest collection I've created to show up on my iPad search options.

I can confirm this.

I've just created a collection on my desktop (running 6.0b RC2) and restarted Logos.

I have force-closed the Bible app on my ipad and restarted it

The new collection doesn't appear in the search options - and collections I deleted at the same time still do

Thank you Kevin. This is an unusual glitch.  I tried again on my iPhone last night, and the Collections were still not current.  This morning the Collections finally "caught-up" on my iPad, but NOT on my iPhone.  I know that the apps are syncing because the verse of the day and the readings sync up and are current.  It appears that the Collections themselves are not consistently syncing, despite the fact that other data in the apps sync correctly.

FWIW, I've completely closed and re-launched the iOS apps and the Desktop application multiple times over the last few days.

I see that Timothy and Graham are experiencing this problem, too.

I'm unable to reproduce this issue and collections are syncing every time for me.  Is the issue still occurring?

Hi Kevin, yes, I just checked the phone and confirmed that a new reading synced between the app and L5, but the Resource Collection list on the phone  is still not reflecting the current Collection list in L5 and the iPad.

Timothy and Graham, are your Collections syncing with the iOS apps yet?

Have you pressed the Home button on your iPhone and reopened the app?

Yes mine seem to be synced now too. I guess it just takes a while or something.

Could this be an L5 issue? It seems to be working now for me, but I have L6.

I don't believe so.  Something for Brad to check - please sign in to logos.com as your user account, and then access documents.logos.com from the same browser; this will show all of the documents that have synced to your account.  If the collections are there this issue is unrelated to Logos Desktop software.

Yes, many times over the last few days, but that didn't fix the problem.  However, I have good news:  As of a few minutes ago the iPhone app finally shows the current Collection list.

Kevin is right.  We know that my Collections list synced to my account from L5 because they eventually (after a few days) synced to my iPad.  But they still would not sync up on my iPhone until later.  The Collections lists are finally in sync between L5, the iPhone and the iPad, but it took a few days.  Just to reiterate--I forced syncs on the iOS apps and L5 multiple times over the last few days, and closed and restarted all of them multiple times as well, without resolution until this afternoon.  Something was clearly wrong, but I'm happy that Timothy, Graham and I are back in sync.

Kevin, I hope the comments in this thread can be helpful if the problem happens in the future for other users.  In the meantime, thank you very much for checking in on this the last couple of days and for attempting to reproduce it.  I really appreciate the communication and follow-up.

I've noticed this issue has cropped up for me in the last couple of weeks - about half of my collections have disappeared from the mobile app. I can see them on my Mac and at documents.logos.com, and they used to turn up fine - can't work out what's happened for the life of me.
