I thought I'd point out this sermon collection before it closes on Community Pricing
https://www.logos.com/product/47640/john-calvin-and-martin-luther-sermon-collection
Thank you Bruce - I had somehow missed this one, and it looks as if the price could go down further in the next day or so if a few more people bid: it's already a pretty good price, especially if they are well tagged.
A few more bids will get it down to $10!
Now that would be nice [:)]
I'm in. Thanks for bringing attention to this one.
I'm in too
Thanks, Bruce. Even better it is tagged as Sermons (which will show up in Logos 6 passage guide). I'm in. [:)]
Wow, when I posted this the price was at $14 and now it is down to $10. If more people jump in it might even go down $8. Also note that bidding doesn't close until the 30th so there is still lots of time to get more people to bid.
Logos, how about highlighting this on a blog post before the 30th? A great opportunity to highlight both community pricing and the sermon add-on. Considering how important both Calvin and Luther there could potentially be many more bids, but not everyone visits the forums.
Great idea Keith.
On a related topic can someone tell me why this is listed as #3 in the "Progress" list of resources on Community Pricing? It should be #1 since it is the only resource that is currently over 100%.
I can't believe that I missed this. Thanks for highlighting it, Bruce. Bid duly placed.
Wow Bruce,
Thank you some how I missed this one too. I must be getting sloppy in my review of the website [^o)]
I think its the website that is getting a little "sloppy" regarding placement of collections in the "progress" sequence......
We generally check at the top and if the top item is not over 100% we often check no further: so far this one is hiding itself at number 3 [:-*]
Thanks Bruce, I hadn't spotted this.
Am now in at $10.
Thanks, I'm in at 10 but it looks like it could end at $8.00 maybe even $7.00..
it could end at $8.00
I jumped in at $8
It just reached $8 and it is now listed first on the page!
The price if almost down to $7 if there was a $7 option (hint, hint).
We need some more bids.
[Y]
I added mine for $8.00. Hard to beat that price, anyway!
Can anyone confirm that these will / can be used to populate the "Sermons" section in the various guides?
Donnie
I can't say this for sure but I would hope this is the case.

I noticed that this is listed as Resource Type: Sermons. My John Piper Sermon Archive is also listed as Resource Type: Sermons and that works great in my Passage guide so hopefully these will too.
Ray was able to adjust the increments and the projected price is already down to $7.00! Additionally, I'm working on an Academic Blog post that should go out later today.
Thanks for the recommendation, Bruce!
Thanks Jonathan!
From the Logos Academic Blog:
Best of all, the Logos edition allows you to study these reformers like never before. Fully searchable, these five volumes also appear within the Sermons section of the Logos 6 Passage Guide.
I hit $7.00 we still have two days to get it to $6.00 [;)]
I hit $7.00 we still have two days to get it to $6.00
Now down to $6. Still time to get to $5. [:D]
The price if almost down to $7 if there was a $7 option (hint, hint). We need some more bids.
Yes we need a few more bids to get it down to 5 dollars [:D]
Bid now and do your research/homework later:
you can cancel anytime before it ships
and even return it afterwards if it does not meet your expectations.....
Wow, this is down to a little over a buck a volume. Great resource! Don't miss it!
Wow, this is down to a little over a buck a volume.
I think the blog really helped with this. I can imagine that anyone who misses out on this will be kicking themselves later.
I would have! I own Luther's Works already, but I figured that for $6 (or less!) even if they are very similar, I'd still be doing good by getting them!
This may make it down to $5. Even at $10 it is a great deal. We can learn a lot from former preachers who were committed to Scripture, doctrine, etc, [G]
I know most of you are well aware, but for those who may still be undecided: just a reminder for anyone who has Luther's Works already: both the Luther's Works AND this collection are translations of the originals and we can get a better sense of the original intent if we compare more than one translators attempts to render the full sense in English.
It was definitely worth $10, you can be sure of getting the collection for $6 and we MIGHT all get it for $5 with a few more bidders participating.....
bump! - heading for $5 (or £3.31)
Only a few hours left to get in on this great deal. It is so close to $5.
I have $6.00. Can I get $5.00?
BUMP
I hope so. It has gone up more in the last few hours. There is still time. Tell your friends!
almost time up ...
$6 was a great deal. [:)]
If you missed it you will now have to pay $45. Sorry about that. [:S]
Thank you for bringing this one to our attention, Bruce. It was a no-brainer at the higher price, and your efforts turned it into a bargain for all of us!
Glad to help. This was too good to miss.
Thanks Bruce for driving this in the forums, etc. Your hard work alerted many to the resources availability and thus lowered the price for all. The resource is now listed at $44.95. What a savings!!!
Thanks again. [Y]
Thanks again, Bruce and Logos. What a value!
Thanks Bruce!
