Logos Bible Software Indexer has stopped working ... continually

Since installing Logos 6, every time I either boot up my laptop or start the Logos program, I receive an error message saying the "Indexer has stopped working". I can close the program and continue what I am doing but this should be happening. Attached is my log files.

It looks like the "Background Intelligent Transfer Service" in Windows is either disabled or broken. Logos 6 requires this service to download files.
