The german Bibles which are sold here on the logos website are very old. Is there another resource for german bibles? I haven't found one so far.

The SESB, published by the German Bible society and the Bible Society of the Netherlands, has the following German Bibles.

  • Lutherbibel 1984/1999, with lemmatization
  • Lutherbibel 1912
  • Zürcher Bibel 2007, with lemmatization
  • Gute Nachricht Bibel 1997/2000, with lemmatization
  • Einheitsübersetzung with lemmatization
  • Elberfelder Bibel with lemmatization
  • Die Schrift, verdeutscht von Martin Buber und Franz Rosenzweig
The SESB package does use the Libronix/Logos engine. Hopefully this helps.

Thanks, but the SESB Package is to expensive and contains much material that is already in my logos 4 bundle. I'm searching for a newer "Lutherbibel" and an "Elberfelder Bibel"!

Other than the apostolic fathers in Greek and English and the eclectic Greek NT nothing in SESB is included in Logos base packages and I have found it the most valuable add on I have purchased over the last 5 years, and I don't use German Bibles. If you are going to use the German Bibles I would highly recommend you getting the SESB, it is pricey but you won't regret it. BHQ alone is worth the investment, and the apparatus'.
