CRASH-HANGING (freezing? bug?) Need Help!

Logos recently downloaded the new version...I am now running 6.3.0.0038 on my MacBook Pro. Since this happened, I have a circle in the upper right-hand side with a 1 in it. When I highlight it is says "preparing library". When I go to my library to view my latest purchase, there is a bar at the top of the library window saying "updating library catalog, list may be incomplete". I have tried "updating my library" through the command bar (even overnight) and nothing changes on my computer. I cannot find my latest purchase in my library at all. My latest purchase took place on May 14. The Logos emblem no longer appears in my toolbar on top that reports how much longer the update will take...all I have is the blue circle with a "1" in it. It appears everything is frozen.
